SAG.org

Check out the New SAG.org

Changes and improvements toSAG.org
(some services are public, but most require SAG membership)

When you log on to the SAG.org website Thursday morning, you will see some significant changes in design and layout of several important sections.

More content-packed and user-friendly, the recent upgrades to SAG.org help you get what you need immediately, while keeping pace with the technology that the world uses to communicate.

Some of the new features include:

A Revamped Home Page
With a refreshed home page design, the news that matters most to you is positioned front and center.

Volumes of Video on SAG TV
In addition to a featured video at the top of the new SAG.org home page, you’re also one click away from the improvements to the SAG TV section of the site.  You can also see brand new videos in our member-to-member video series  “SAG On Your Side”.

Easy Access to SAG’s Social Networks
SAG knows the importance of social networking to you. As another new convenience, you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, andRSS. And, we are in the final stages of production on an iPhone app that aggregates news from Screen Actors Guild, Screen Actors Guild Awards and SAGIndie.

Producers’ Center – One-Stop Convenience
Meeting your needs is important, and so is meeting the needs of our industry partners. Everything a producer needs to work with SAG is available in one place in our new Producers’ Center and it’s all conveniently accessed via the home page.

Member Involvement
These changes would not be possible without input and feedback from you. Your participation and involvement are key components of our website communications.

The Screen Actors Guild’s national communications committee, website subcommittee and staff share a solid commitment to making sure your Guild website delivers the information you want, when you want it. I hope you will continue to let us know your thoughts atsagcommunications@sag.org.

Thank you for your interest and participation in the Guild. Enjoy these exciting new changes to the SAG.org website and keep an eye out for future enhancements coming later in the year.

In unity and looking forward,

David P. White
National Executive Director
Screen Actors Guild

---------------------------------

These are the beginnings of refinements under a  Guild plan to make the union accesible and active for our members coast to coast. I serve on Young Performers, Communication, Web sub-committee, On Line Task Force and as co-chair of New Technologies. These committees and others have been working with staff to improve use of, access to and value for SAG's communication with membership and approachability for the overall film community.
